Aunt Chris and family

Thanksgiving is coming. Along with my sister, her husband and all six kids. My kids are beside themselves with excitement. How many days until Aunt Chris comes is the question I get two or three times a day. We just found out that Aunt Chris will be here one day earlier than expected and the excitement level has tripled. Four days to go . . . can't wait.

Now some might think that 4 adults, 11 kids, a cat and a hamster is a recipe for a headache, but I have to disagree. This is Arizona. The weather is nice and all those Utah kids will want to do is play outside. My kids are 100 times better when playing with their cousins (this has a lot to do with the fact that Chris has 4 girls who are natural mothers) and Lia and Grace love to chase after the big kids and watch them play.

Chris and I will get some serious shopping done, along with some yummy Sushi. And the boys will get in a round or two of golf. I actually can't think of a better way to spend the week of Thanksgiving than with 11 crazy kids. I'm excited to play hostess to our pack of crazies and entertain them with movies, games and outdoor fun. Bring it on!

I can't wait to hear how it went. Brianna is getting baptized the Saturday after Thanksgiving so we will be playing hostess to lots of people too. We however do not have the nice weather. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with your family. Love you.

But I'm jealous of your green trees and shrubs and just GREEN. I also miss rain. We don't get much of that seeing that we live in a hotter than Hades desert. Brianna is not 8! They grow so fast, I can't believe it. Tell her congrats from us. That is so wonderful. We miss you guys.

What could be better? Throw two more siblings and 2 more cousins in the mix... :)

I'd gladly give up "green" to have "warm" right now. Sadly, Brian doesn't agree with me.

So come and join us. It will be crazy fun! You know what happens when we all get together. It is loud and there is ALWAYS good food. We miss you. Consider this your formal invite, although there is always a standing invite!

Are you serious??? You MISS rain! Just come join me in Germany for about 1 hour and it will cure all though ugly thoughts you are having. lol I hope you and Chris (and all) had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Tell your sis I said hi - I still think I stand in awe when I hear her name. (You too of course.) She was super mom then, what's she like now?

I love rain. It's so much better than 115 degrees.

Chris is still the best mom ever. She loves my kids which of course makes her even better. She and I have a lot of fun planning fun summers for the kids. Come join us next summer.
