Today Sam and I had lunch together. His favorite food has always been tomatoes, but lately I think he's leaning toward maple syrup. He now puts syrup on hamburgers, fries, veggies, fruit, bread and of course pancakes. So as he ate his maple dipped hot dogs for lunch today, he asked me out on a date: "Mom, when I grow up, will you go on a date wiff' me?" My heart melted. Of course I will, but we don't have to wait until you grow up, I answered. "Okay" was his response and he smiled.
Is it the maple syrup that makes him so sweet or is it just him?
